Wig Details
Petite — approximately 20.5–21.5 in (52–54.5 cm)
Standard — approximately 21.5–22.5 in (54.5–57 cm)
Large — approximately 22.5–23.5 in (57–59.5 cm)
Extra Large — approximately 23.5 in (59.5 cm) and above
These ranges are a general guide rather than a precise rule. Wig caps have some natural stretch across most dimensions, and the overall shape of the cap can be just as important as circumference.
The adjustable tabs at the back allow you to fine-tune the fit, and on many caps the adjusters can be crossed over to reduce the circumference further.
If your measurements fall between sizes, don't be put off by the numbers. A wig can often accommodate a little variation, and your other measurements and the way the cap sits on your head also matter.
Hairline to nape: measured from the centre of the front hairline to the centre of the lower edge of the cap at the nape.
Temple to temple: Measured from the temple area on one side of the wig to the temple area on the other, following the curve of the front hairline.
Circumference: measured around the inside of the cap, from the centre of the front hairline around the sides and back to the starting point.
The smallest measurement is taken with the wig cap adjusters at their narrowest setting and the cap unstretched. The largest measurement is taken with the adjusters at their widest setting and the elastic gently stretched.
Ear to ear (over crown): measured over the crown from the top of one ear tab to the top of the opposite ear tab, following the curve of the cap.
Ear to ear: measured from the front of one ear tab, around the back of the cap at the same height, to the front of the opposite ear tab.
Lace size refers to the dimensions of the lace section at the front of the wig. A larger lace area generally gives you more flexibility when positioning the wig and creating a natural-looking hairline or parting.
Density describes how much hair is used to create the wig's overall fullness. Lower-density wigs have less hair and tend to give a lighter, softer and more natural-looking finish, while higher densities create more volume and fullness.
At Roen, we deliberately offer lower-density styles because we believe a wig doesn't need lots of hair to look beautiful or realistic.
Rooted means the wig has a darker or deeper colour at the roots, creating the appearance of natural root growth and adding depth to the overall colour.
There’s no right or better choice between rooted and non-rooted colour — it’s simply a matter of personal preference and the look you feel most comfortable wearing.
How We Measure
Measurements are taken directly on the wig, laid flat and gently positioned into its natural shape. All measurements are taken unstretched, except circumference, which is measured as a range with the cap adjusters at their narrowest and widest settings. Measurements are taken to or from where the hair begins, rather than including any additional lace, lace tabs or cap material beyond the hairline.
Measurements are intended as a guide and may vary slightly between styles and colours.
Care & Styling
Looking after your Roen wig
With the right care, your wig will stay looking its best for longer. We recommend treating your wig gently and using a wide-tooth comb to work through the hair, starting at the ends and gradually working upwards.
Washing & conditioning
Wash your wig when it needs refreshing, using products suitable for synthetic wigs. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the fibres, and gently squeeze out excess water rather than wringing.
Drying
Allow your wig to air dry naturally on a wig stand or suitable support. Avoid sleeping in your wig or storing it while damp.
Heat styling
Most Roen wigs are heat friendly, but we recommend keeping heat styling to a maximum of 160°C.
Even where a fibre can technically withstand a higher temperature, we don't recommend using it. 160°C is more than enough for gentle restyling while helping to protect the fibres and extend the life of your wig.
Always check the individual product details before applying heat.
Brushing & styling
Use a wide-tooth comb or suitable wig brush and work gently from the ends upwards. Avoid pulling or dragging through the fibres.

We currently offer delivery within the UK only.
Every Roen London order includes complimentary Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery.
Discreet packaging
Your Roen order is sent in plain, unbranded outer packaging, with no indication of what's inside. Your beautiful Roen packaging is revealed when you open your parcel.
When will my order be dispatched?
We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 working days.
Once your order has been packed and dispatched, we'll send you an email with your tracking information so you can follow its journey.
When will my order arrive?
Royal Mail Tracked 48 has an estimated delivery time of 2–3 working days after dispatch.
Please note that this is a delivery aim rather than a guaranteed timeframe, and occasionally parcels may take a little longer.
Where do you deliver?
At present, Roen London delivers to UK addresses only.
We're not currently able to offer international delivery, but we hope to expand our delivery options in the future.

Returns
Returns
We want you to feel confident ordering from Roen London. Choosing a wig online is a personal decision, so we've made our returns process as straightforward as possible.
Your 14-day return window
If you change your mind about your purchase, please let us know within 14 days of receiving your wig.
Once you've contacted us, you'll have a further 14 days to send the wig back to us. You don't need to give a reason for your return.
Please contact us at info@roenlondon.co.uk to request a return, and we'll send you the return instructions.
Before you wear your wig
Every Roen wig arrives with a tamper-evident hygiene seal attached.
We ask you to keep the seal attached while you inspect your wig and decide whether it's right for you. The tag is designed to make it difficult to wear the wig while it remains attached.
Please don't remove or break the seal if you think you may want to return your wig.
We use the seal for hygiene reasons and because returned wigs need to be in a condition that allows us to offer them for sale again.
You are very welcome to take your wig out of its packaging and inspect it. We simply ask that you don't wear, wash, cut, style or otherwise alter it if you may wish to return it.
If you decide to return your wig
For a change-of-mind return, we ask that your wig is:
- Unworn
- Unwashed
- Uncut
- Unstyled
- Unaltered
- Returned with the original tags attached
- Returned in its original packaging
- Not exposed to strong odours such as perfume, as the fibres can retain those scents.
- Accompanied by all complimentary materials supplied with your order
Why?
We want to be able to give another customer the same experience you had when your Roen wig arrived: a brand-new, hygienically packaged wig.
If a wig has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, its value may be reduced and this may be taken into account when processing your refund.
Return postage
For change-of-mind returns, the cost of returning the wig to us is the customer's responsibility.
Standard Royal Mail 48 delivery is complimentary with every Roen London order, so there is no original delivery charge to refund.
If you choose a paid delivery upgrade, we'll refund the cost of our standard delivery service rather than the additional upgrade cost.
Your refund
Once your returned wig has arrived with us, we'll check that it's in suitable condition and process your refund.
Refunds are made to the original payment method and processed within the required timeframe.
If something isn't right
If your wig arrives faulty, damaged or isn't the wig you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.
If you can, send us a few photographs showing the issue. This helps us understand what has happened and resolve things quickly.
Please don't send a faulty wig back before contacting us — we'll let you know what to do and, where the issue is our responsibility, we'll cover the reasonable return cost.
Colour confidence
We're particularly conscious that choosing a wig colour online can feel like a big decision.

Your result is a starting point, not a rule. The best colour is always the one you feel most yourself in.

Exchanges
We don't offer direct exchanges.
If you'd prefer a different style or colour, simply return your original wig in accordance with our returns process and place a new order for the one you'd prefer.
